Allow me to introduce myself to you:

My name is Michelle L. Casto. I have worked for many years as a Personal Coach, Trainer and Writer. I have helped  people from all walks of life, with different levels of education and with different dreams, but the same desire in their hearts---to love what they do.

My work has been featured all over the internet, on media stations across the country, and I am known for  having the ability to ignite your inner fire with your ideal work, and for helping people shine brightly in their world.  I am committed to fast results, so I use a unique Soul-Centered and Integrative process that taps into your passion, purpose, and power so that your next best step becomes obvious!

My philosophy is pretty simple:
Do What You Love and Other People Benefit.

I believe we all have work that is ours to do, and when we find that work, and do that work, we have found our rightful place in the world.

I’ve helped many people – people like you - through major life and career change.
I’ve taught literally thousands of people how to improve the quality of their lives – with an inside out approach to success.  It's my passion. I love what I do. I adore my clients, and I enjoy watching them recreate their realities.
To play a role in thier personal growth process is truly a blessing!

I've Created The Career Change Academy Just For You
Because of My Own Career Changes and Challenges

Before I got started with Life Coaching, I was a career counselor  in the higher educational field, because I wanted to know what I wanted to be "when I grew up," and I figured if I could help other people figure it out, that would help me too.

So during the course of my career, I have performed many roles---as a freelance writer, adjunct instructor, and counselor helping thousands of people undergoing the process of deciding upon a career or even changing career fields entirely.  One thing I excelled at was teaching adults, particularly graduate students.  I have a knack for teaching complex ideas and making them "practical" and easy-to-understand.  That is why I am so successful as a Coach today, I am great at inspiring people who are motivated to learn.

I was not always so on track, though.

For a couple of years, I desperately tried to fit a square peg in a round hole in the corporate environment.
And guess what, it was not pretty.

During that time, I thought there was something wrong with me because I had all the worldly success symbols--- college degrees, a good job with a big name company, benefits, etc, and yet;
I was miserable.

In fact, the whole situation was making me sick.

The culture was toxic---politics and favorites reigned supreme.  I am sure you know what I am talking about.

I just about burned myself out in my twenties, just going to work, coming home, falling into bed, and doing it all again day after day.  I especially resented how my time was dictated, especially my days off.

I found out later that many organizations, just like families, are highly dysfunctional and those who know how to play the game get rewarded, while those with integrity and heart, are seen as threats to the system (aka status quo).

I once got reprimanded for being too passionate!

I told the supervisor, “I thought I was supposed to care about my job and those that I serve!”
I knew I was in trouble when I kept having dreams about work that would wake me in the middle of the night!

The real deal breaker, though, was when my personal values conflicted with the organization’s values---they seemed willing to do just about anything to make a buck.

For me, the typical 9-5 work situation felt more like a self-created prison.

I held the belief then and certainly do now, that work not only could be fun, it was supposed to be fun. I knew I had to find something else or I was going to be unhappy for a really long time---like my whole life.

I decided very early on in my career that I was not going to find what I was looking for in a traditional work environment.  Gratefully, I followed my inner guidance and was led to Life Coaching.

That was over 15 years ago, and Coaching is the best job on the planet for me because I get to help people clarify and claim their dreams. And then we work together in partnership as those dreams become their new reality.

Everyday, I wake up and thank God for the work that I do, the people I work with, and the lifestyle it affords me.

I  now know the answer to what do I want to BE when I grow up:
I want to BE ME---Deeply, Completely and Passionately
And I want to BE Happy.
And I have a feeling that is what YOU want too.

Wherever you are in your readiness to Change place, I can assist you.

Where Are You?  Where Do You Want to Go?

It could be that all you need is a change of environment.

It could also be that you need to change career fields entirely.
Since the average person changes careers 7-10 times, that would certainly be the case.

However, it could also be you are ready to lose the JOB (just over broke) and step into your Life Purpose.

Einstein said, "nothing changes until something moves."

Your life will not change until you change.

Until you admit that something is not working in your life, only then will you find the relief you so desperately seek.

Until you reach out, ask for, and accept help from a trusted source, things will remain the same (day in and day out!)

My company Everyday Enlightenment has the books, resources, and coaching programs to help you at every level of career and life change.  My proprietary, custom-tailored, and experiential programs range from baby steps to radical transformation.

Wake Up Monday Morning And Jump Out of Bed With Excitement
It is no accident that heart attacks occur on Monday morning than any other time of the week because people spend all weekend agonizing over the thought

Before you get sick or worse, I encourage you to have a Jerry McGuire moment.

Maybe not to the extent where he writes and shares his manifesto with his co-workers and they all think he has lost his mind.  (You know, many of those same people secretly wish they could be as a courageous as Jerry, but they are too scared of taking a risk!)

What I mean is have a private moment with your own SOUL.
Be honest with yourself and get reconnected with what will make you happy.

Write down in your journal whatever comes to you.

Writing will make it real.

It’s a step in the right direction…..and then give yourself a gift:

Hire a Guide to Get You Out of Nowheresville and into the City of Career Success.
(I know someone who is perfect for the position!)

Jobs or careers that you feel are failures are actually successful graduations!
You mastered a skill or attitude that you needed to, in order to move on.
